NiTEC's diffused nickel plating process represents the gold standard for corrosion
resistance via the total encapsulation method of plating. This method of nickel plating is so resistant to
corrosion, particularly in a marine environment, that we have customers giving
mild steel, plated in this method 30 year sub-sea guarantees.
The diffused nickel plating process has been extensively used in the
end-fittings for flexible pipe lines and top-side equipment.
